The Black Market is Located just off of Spring Garden, at 1545 Grafton, across from the Library. I have visited it a few times since my first excursion in May and keep coming to the same conclusion: cute, unique, and unnecessarily expensive. Let's face it, the stuff sold there, for the most part, is cheaply made. I find it ridiculous that they are asking people to pay $42 for a cheap cotton dress that is going to shrink and pill at a moments notice.
There are some reasonably priced things - the things they put on sale - I picked up an indispensable reusable cotton bag there for $5 and it is perfect. It zips up into a little square that I can toss in my bag (I keep it there because I always seem to need an extra bag) and it is SO cute. It is a lovely purple and gold indian design that gets compliments whenever I pull it out. There is also have a carved wooden keychain in the shape of a penis that I am working up the balls to string my keys on.
